05 Revelation 2:12-17 ... Letters to the Churches (Pergamos)

Today, we consider the message of Jesus Christ to the church of Pergamos. Though Jesus acknowledges that He knows the works and faithfulness of the church of Pergamos, He also knows that they have within their church those who hold to the doctrines of Balaam and those who hold to the doctrines of the Nicolaitans. Jesus then commands the church to repent and promises to personally fight against those who hold to these erroneous teachings. To those who overcome Jesus gives some precious and exciting promises!
