050: Civilian Rifleman Culture w/PNW Guerrilla

On this extra long almost three hour episode, I sit down with PNW Guerrilla! He’s been sharing his mountain rucks with likeminded people up in the Pacific North-West for some time now, got all sorts of great attention across Tik Tok and Instagram that’s been helping to normalize civilian riflemanship, rucking, bushcraft etc. and generally, cultivating and inspiring young men across the country to do the same. We get into his backstory from his time in the military, the feeling of a loss of purpose upon leaving and how he reignited that drive via getting involved with wilderness and prepper gatherings, how he got away from one borderline cultish group, what he learnt from his time in other groups and how he applied that to building up a tribe of his own, the value of growing civilian rifleman culture, it’s resurgence and how it extends beyond the weekend warrior or gun hobbyist mentality into more of a lifestyle, his groups ‘policy on the jab’, we get into the meaning behind his Gorilla skull masks, medical training and how it prepared his group for a real casualty off the grid, how a job working for GrubHub offered some radicalizing moments seeing how lazy people are, what finding your tribe means to him, the Washington mag ban and yes, we discuss the accusations against him of being involved with alleged Federal Informant, Will Kullman, and accusation that he too has testified/informed on people (we discuss this for 20 minutes). I’m proud of this episode, I’m glad I was finally able to sit down with this guy, someone who regardless of your opinion on him personally, is encouraging people across this country to get out and better themselves and participate in training more productive than just flat range theatrics. Something I’d like to see more of, and that I think our culture is really leaning into as of late. I also feel this was a good chance to lay a bunch of stuff on the table, look at it plainly and allow people to make up their own minds, something I value above rumor mills and witch hunts.
