050. Our Traumatic Birth Story & A Lesson In Listening to Your Intuition

Drop me a message or voice note!I can’t believe we’ve reached 50 EPISODES of the Life With Grief Podcast, my friends! To commemorate this in a big way, I’m sharing a personal story that is close to my heart—the (very traumatic) birth story of our daughter, Audrey, in January 2024. I have to be honest, I was really going back and forth on sharing this. There was definitely a time in the last two or three months where I didn’t want to relive this experience and wasn’t sure if I would ever feel comfortable talking about it. But, I think it's an important story to share. Not only because I want to be very open and vulnerable with you and my grief journey, but this birth was such an important lesson in intuition for me. I've always felt like I was a fairly intuitive person, but honestly, since the deaths of my parents and as I've continued to grow and become more introspective, I felt like this was such a beautiful example of that. I couldn’t not share it. Had I not listened to my intuition, the outcome of our daughter's life would have been very different (in other words, she would not have survived).
