052: Memories Are Funny Things

On today's episode, I want to dive into the memories that flood our hearts on birthdays  and how as time goes on the hurt lessens, so do the memories.  Or they should when you allow yourself to feel the pain. When you walk right into it and allow it to penetrate every ounce of your body, the pain begins to fade.  Memories on the other hand are funny things; there are times when events remain so vivid and clear and then there are other times when you can't for the life of you remember the date, where you were or the tiny details of that day or place. It almost feels unfair, like you're moving on with your life and forgetting what mattered. Then the guilt comes rushing in and you find yourself apologizing because you didn't want to forget, you can't forget,  but somehow you do.   *Correction: The scripture from the episode is Isaiah 40:8   Let's stay connected.
