Elektrisch rijden is rijden met een nagenoeg stille motor en dat is voor veel rijders een bezwaar. Een motor moet je (volgens velen) horen en de ronkende motor onder je is een stuk van de beleving. Toch Jeroen Dekkers helemaal om. Hij rijdt al jaren motor en de laatste paar jaar elektrisch op zijn Energica. Over zichzelf zegt hij: “Ik ben absoluut geen groene rakker”. Een beter milieu is voor hem een mooie bijzaak, elektrisch motorrijden wordt volgens hem de toekomst. Maar ook nu is het volgens Jeroen al een absolute aanrader.
