A native Californian, Craig grew up as an aquarium hobbyist who (at the young age of 13) started working at his local pet shop. By the age of 21, Craig was ready for entrepreneurship and opened his own pet shop, which grew from a modest 800 square feet to a 4,000 square foot store that featured a full line of aquatics from aquariums and fountains to ponds and waterfalls.
