On today’s Pondcast it’s the meeting of The Pond Guys! I’m visiting with Mark Harp of Mark The Pond Guy located in Puyallup, Washington - try saying that 5 times fast! Mark runs the quintessential family business with his wife Cynthia and their four adult children who all work both “in” and “on” the business. In fact, you may be familiar with the work of Dan Harp - 2018 Aquascape Artist of the Year! The Harp family has been in business since 1989. In the early years, Mark mowed lawns (and LOVED IT!) then grew the business to a full landscape service company. In 1997, the Harps started installing water features using the Aquascape methodology and since then have gone on to sell off the landscape company and become one of the nation's largest pond installation companies. Today, Mark The Pond Guy is the only Master Certified Aquascape Contractor in Western Washington. Tune in to hear how Mark and his family made it all happen.
