056: Changing the Way You See | A Conversation with Jason Kotecki

from Making Elephants Fly | Conversations with High Octane Leaders, Dreamers, & Creatives

On this episode of Making Elephants Fly, Terry sits down with Jason Kotecki for his second visit to the show. Jason is a professional reminder-er and permission granter who moonlights as an artist, author and speaker. Jason and his wife Kim founded the Cure Adultitis Institute and created Escape Adulthood, a company and lifestyle brand that helps people and organizations break free from the vile clutches of Adultitis in order to build better lives, businesses, and teams. Through their uplifting website, artwork, books, speaking programs, events and other tools, they empower their tribe of Adultitis Fighters to live fuller, richer lives with less stress and more fun. For over 15 years and with over 750 organizations, Jason has offered real-world strategies and practical ideas to help individuals realize Adultitis-free lives, helping them beat burnout and become more innovative by breaking rules that don't exist. Jason's artwork has been collected and licensed all over the world, and his insights have been featured in publications like Inc. and Woman's Day. He is the author of seven books, including Penguins Can't Fly + 39 Other Rules That Don't Exist, which has been translated into languages he can't even read. His newest book, A Chance of Awesome: How Changing the Way You See Changes Everything released earlier this year. Join Terry as he sits down with Jason to learn what happens when you change the way you see. Find out more at http://terryweaver.com and join Terry at the Thing at http://thething.live .
