You need to make sure that the time you spend networking is with people who matter for your career or business. In addition, being able to confidently end conversations makes you look like a leader. It shows that you’re taking control of the conversation and taking control of your time.When I started networking, I didn’t know how to end conversations gracefully. I thought it was rude and impolite so I would just let the other person talk. I ended up wasting a lot of time at networking events, not meeting people I wanted to meet and missing out on business opportunities.Since then I’ve learned how to end conversations gracefully at networking events and I’ve built the courage to do so.
