057 - Lauren Henley - Individualized Curriculum

Lauren has spent the last 15 years standing for justice and equity as a teacher and middle school Principal on the Westside of Chicago. Her passion and commitment undermine systematic oppression, ironically, became an awakening to the unconscious oppression inside herself. Lauren considers herself an Oracle, Truth Teller, Healer and Coach who uses her own path to support the conscious evolution of humanity. Lauren is not a healer, but a waker! She and Sarah discuss the ideas of awakening and transformation; the systems of oppression that perpetuate bias, prejudice and racism; and ultimately focus on what is beautiful, not what is broken.
