057. Minisode: Joy Will Return to You

In the month of November, I will be reading a devotion from the book on the podcast every Monday. In September I read from section 1 of the book, which was about dealing with the hurt. In October, I read from section 2, which was about growing closer to God. This month, I will be reading from section 3, which is about finding yourself. This month, I’ll be reading devotions about getting back the things the enemy stole from you like your peace, joy, strength, and identity. Today’s excerpt is about getting your joy back. The scripture reference is Psalms 30:10-11 (NLT). Is sadness just the way it is now? Absolutely not Sis! God will turn your mourning into dancing and your sorrow into joy. When you’re feeling alone and sad, cry out to God. Let Him come into that moment with you. It won’t be long until the pain completely stops. When you let God mend your broken heart, the pain will go away. Let Him in Sis!
