En esta charla Joachim Milz nos habla del concepto de la agricultura sintrópica vs la monocultura. El hype de las supercomidas o "Superfoods" y su impacto en el medio ambiente. El Dr. Joachim Milz es el presidente de la Fundación ECOTOP. Estudió agricultura tropical en Witzenhausen, Alemania. Tiene una maestría por la Universidad Técnica de Berlín y un doctorado por la Universidad Humboldt de Berlín. Actualmente vive en Alemania pero ha vivido desde 1982 mayormente en Bolivia. En 1995 empezó a convertir su finca en Alto Beni, Bolivia, en Agroforestería Dinámica, inducida y apoyada por Ernst Götsch, un suizo brasileño quien ha formulado los principios de la agroforestería dinámica o sintrópica. Desde el año 2000 organiza cursos internacionales sobre agroforestería dinámica. Ha creado la consultora ECOTOP SRL y la Fundación ECOTOP.  Su misión es difundir la agroforestería dinámica en todo el mundo para conciliar las actividades humanas con los principios de la vida. En los últimos 10 años  ECOTOP está asesorando proyectos también en África, y Asia.
