Integrating gratitude and praise and rest and allowing the Holy Spirit to transform our minds into seeing the entire creation—not just humans—as God-given, is essential to our spiritual practice. The earth is not our possession; rather we are its priestly caretakers. It’s our spiritual and sacred responsibility to steward and tend the creation, which is crucial to our having continued life on our planet.
