06 | We Are Broken Vessels: How God Uses Our Flaws For His Purposes

from Rooted in Faith Fitness | Christian Fitness, Daily Habits, Workout Tips, Contentment · host Kersey Kelly - Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach, and Ambassador for Christ

There are broken places in your life that you wish you could cover up.    There are painful reminders of your imperfections that overshadow you more days than not.   We all go through life and find ourselves a little broken and work hard to pick up the pieces and put ourselves back together as best as we can.   But, what if I told you that all those broken places, all those flaws, and all those cracks have a purpose? What if I told you that God wants to use your imperfections for His glory?   I want to share with you a powerful message God has placed on my heart recently. I believe that God wants you to break free from the bondage you’ve been under and step out to find freedom from your flaws and learn that He is ultimately sovereign over those areas. God wants to remind you that your imperfections are the places from which His glory shines forth and His strength is made evident.   Today I’m going to dive into why our flaws actually have a purpose and how we can use them to glorify God. I KNOW God is going to move in some powerful ways! Verses I cover today: Galatians 2:20 - “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”   2 Corinthians 5:17 - “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:[a] The old has gone, the new is here!”   2 Corinthians 12:9 - “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” Next Steps:   Join the email list: https://bit.ly/fitbykersey_mailinglist    Apply for 1:1 Online Personal Training: https://bit.ly/fitbykersey_application    Join the Facebook Community: https://bit.ly/fitbykersey-community    Follow me on Instagram: @fit.by.kersey
