Should accountants and finance professionals fear digital disruption in Finance? I mean digital technologies have disrupted many existing business models and value chains, think of the impacts of an Amazon, Airbnb, and Uber. Their businesses largely work off of digital platforms, so what’s to say Finance & Accounting, which has been around for many thousands of years, is somehow immune or should we be concerned that digital may cause us like many other business becoming less relevant.
