While earning a Fisheries and Wildlife Management degree from North Carolina State University (GO PACK!), Sam interned with a lake and pond management company and became a student of the business. With more to give than the company was willing to take at the time of his graduation, Sam amicably parted ways to launch his own pond management business. Starting with $200 bucks in his savings account and a willingness to offer lake and pond management services door-to-door, Sam has grown his one-man start-up to a $4 million, multi-division company that employs 35 employees year-round.
