063 - Shannon Grove - CA 16th Senate District Sits Down With Team OTC

The OTC team welcomed Senator Shannon Grove of California's 16th Senate District to the studio (via Zoom!) last year and had a very spirited conversation where Shannon shared her passion for fighting a variety of issues. Most refreshing was her take on women's roles in leadership and what it takes to make changes in our system.  Shannon Groves is the first woman veteran elected to serve in the California Legislature and is proud to serve as the Vice-Chair for the Senate Committee on Veteran Affairs. Shannon served in the United States Army and was stationed in Frankfurt, Germany where she witnessed the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989.
