Will gives his short review of the latest Evangelion movie before we talk about the hefty themes of Chobits, we compare the anime to the manga as well as find time to to talk about our fave anime filler episodes (Dragonball Z makes that list). He finds Chi floating in the air and she confesses her love to him. He does the same, Freya reveals that Chi is incapable of sexual intercourse since doing so would reset her, erasing her memories in the process. Hideki decides that this does not matter and will still stay with Chi. Freya then tells Hideki to take care of her sister and goes away. Chi awakens in his arms, happy to have finally found her soulmate. Chi does not buy Hideki a ring in the anime. Chi's programming at the end of the anime differs from the manga, and is allowed to run, thus affecting all the persocoms. Simply put; Manga: Freya will make persocom completely emotionless if Hideki does not love Chi. Anime: Freya will give persocom capacity to love if Hideki loves Chi. Hideki recognises that he is not talking to Chi when Freya speaks.
