065. Minisode: Choose Wisely

Hey Sis! It’s December already! I’ll still be treating you to a devotion from my book every Monday right here on the podcast. Today’s excerpt is about using wisdom when choosing a mate. The scripture reference is Genesis 29:34 (NLT). Are you feeling like you’re ready to start dating again? Maybe you keep thinking about your ex and whether or not you should go back to that relationship. Either way, you need to exercise wisdom when making a decision.  If you’re making progress on your healing journey or you’ve found healing, the last thing you want to do is unravel all the hard work you’ve done. We don’t want to experience heartbreak again, if we can help it.  Ask the Holy Spirit to order your steps before you choose your next mate. And if you’re still healing, store the information from this devotion for a later date because you have work to do. I pray this devotion gives you something to think about!
