One such story was the global stock markets reaction to Pfizer's announcement regarding their Phase 3 vaccine trial, as investors eye a rebound in global growth for 2021.Nicki Hoyne, Entrepreneur and founder of the award winning online accessory store My Shining Armour, has launched her Nicky Hoyne Collection. The Collection of statement handbags are designed in Ireland and handmade in Spain. Nicki is working on ensuring that her brand becomes a fully sustainable brand with materials being sourced as close to the factories as possible to reduce carbon footprint and the lining of the bags is made from 100% recycled cotton.Running in the dark and using a headlight that just wasn't doing the job lead to Padraic George a qualified electrical engineer to develop the Bodylite Night Runner. Padraic set about designing a prototype which would be dual purpose, firstly with road safety in mind to ensure he would be visible to oncoming traffic and secondly so that he could see where he was running and with input from Design+ in the Institute of Technology Carlow the "Bodylite Night Runner" was developed. Stryve are a private Cloud company based in Carlow which offers bespoke private cloud solutions and Fortune 500-grade cybersecurity for SMEs and multinationals,  Andrew Tobin CEO at Stryve joined John to talk about the work they do and their plans for expansion with the recent announcement of ten new jobs, seven of which will be based locally.Kilkenny Business Awards 2020 while not taking place with the usual gala night in the Lyrath Hotel are going ahead this year with two special awards which are in the gift of the Chamber, The President’s Award and The Lifetime Achievement Award, Colin Ahern President of Kilkenny Chamber of Commerce joined John to tell him more about the awards.With thanks to O’Neill Foley, Produced by Deirdre Dromey.To contact the show, email [email protected]
