On this episode of Greg Wittstock, The Pond Guy Pondcasts we’re visiting Dale Vnuk the founder and owner of Wyld Creek Water Gardens in Fox Lake, Illinois. Dale got his start as a pond guy when he started tinkering with the backyard pond that his wife had installed by a local contractor. A year after that installation, Dale deconstructed the pond to fix a leak. When rebuilding the pond, Dale created his first waterfall and was instantly hooked on pond building. A few years later, the 9-11 tragedy occurred. With the help of an Aquascape pond tour and contractor training, Dale left his job as a commercial plane mechanic to become a full-time pond builder. Join us as we hear Dale tell his unique story of becoming a pond guy!
