07/02/2021 Postgame - A week of pain

The Cubs dropped their seventh straight contest Friday in Cincinnati, 2-1 to the Reds. The offense found a way to score first but Adam Morgan was unable to hold down Joey Votto in the Reds lone inning where they had multiple runners on base. Alec Mills pitched a gem, but the Cubs offense again just could not drive any runs in with RISP. The streak is extended.
