The 6am hour brings us Bertha updates. Gulf Breeze City manager Sam Abell who joins the show to discuss: millage rates and tax cuts for the residents, Blue Angel Air Show low pass, truck theft thwarted at Exxon Station, Sam gives kudos to law enforcement,  swore in new officers at PPD, introduction of new K9 - K9 Rue who will be at Gulf Breeze High School, budget season - rollback rate SRC Administrator Brad Baker joins the show to discuss: Bertha being a coastal event. Pier is closed. Surf is up. No bridges closed. No roads closed. Para Park area resurfacing near Chumuckla Highway.  Parking on the beach and the dunes - what is the issue about their not being an ordinance?  They can ticket you but not tow you so an ordinance is possibly happening so they can address that. RV Parking is an issue with another possible ordinance for not parking on right of way.  The only rule about RVs is living in them. It needs to be an acre lot.  The roundabout on W Spencerfield Road will hopefully be opened by the end of next week or so.
