07: Pyramids

Hey buddy, wanna buy a scenic river kingdom with over 7,000 years of history? In this episode, we slather on the sunscreen and wander out into the seventh book in the Discworld series, PYRAMIDS! Are there better book ideas secreted away inside this book? Does the fictional Kingdom of Djelibeybi actually bear anything deeper than the most superficial resemblance to ancient Egypt? Are we bad people for finding a pantheon sexy, or did Sir Terry goof up by not making his pantheon sexy enough? And can we just give the whole razor blade thing a rest already? We discuss all these topics... and MORE. OUR CURRENT RANKING: 1. Mort 2. Wyrd Sisters 3. Equal Rites 4. Pyramids 5. Sourcery 6. The Light Fantastic 7.
