Kayla Nixon is a blogger, first-time author, and former PreK teacher. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Old Dominion University, and she has written A Black Woman’s Coffee Table Book: Commentary on Life, Loss, and Love. Even at her young age, Kayla uses her digital platform to showcase her work as a photographer and writer, broadly addressing themes of travel, black womanhood, loss, love, and more.
