She is a negotiation strategist for women leaders and a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion specialist. She is co-author of Four Capabilities Assessment, an online 360-degree performance assessment used by organizations to enhance the leadership of potential managers, and of the article, The Hidden Key to Leading Through Chaos, published in the MIT Sloan Management Review. Dr. Williams conducts research on how group membership influences trust.  collaboration and leadership in the corporate workplace and entrepreneurial firms. She has authored theoretical and empirical papers and case studies, published in notable academic journals, and speaks at academic and professional conferences on her topics of research. She also speaks and conducts workshops on negotiation and high-performing work relationships at organizations such as JP Morgan, The American Pediatrics, and Michigan State University. Dr. Williams earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at John Hopkins University, her Masters from Columbia University, and her Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan.
