#071 Abundance, the mindset shift that activates personal development, and ‘la isla bonita’, with Jay Munoz.

from Personal Development Mastery: Mindset and Growth for Midlife Professionals · host Agi Keramidas

Jay Munoz was born and grew up in Colombia. He is a chartered civil engineer and a property investment mentor and trainer. As a non English-speaking foreigner who needed a visa to come to the UK, he realised that obstacles were not an impediment for him to learn, grow, get a Masters degree, start a business, invest, and build a property empire. He found his "satori moment" after having being employed in the corporate world for over a decade, and that started what he calls his "metamorphosis". His passion is improving lives through building and development, and helping others to become their own personal legends.  Key takeaways:• Self reflection should orbit around self development• Commitment: what separates dreams from reality• The importance of mentorship and how to choose a mentor• Abundance mindset and its connection with giving• Success, metamorphosis, and legacy. Memorable quote:"Read more! Just reading 10 pages a day, is 300 pages a month, it's one book - that's 12 books a year, and it's an easy target!"- Jay Munoz Valuable resources:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jaymunozafl/Website: https://assetsforlife.co.uk/ About the host: I am Agi Keramidas, a knowledge broker and a zealous podcaster (among other traits).
