#072 - Collegiate Landscape Leader - Alex Stanton, Kansas State University

After starting his lawn mowing business in 2014, Alex quickly fell in love with the Green Industry. When he discovered the Horticulture and Natural Resources Department at Kansas State University, Alex knew it was his place. He serves as the Horticulture Club Vice President, an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for multiple classes, and NCLC Team Leader. He has also represented Kansas State as a 2021 Landscapes Student Ambassador, 2021 IA Show E3 Learner, 2022 NCLC Irrigation Design event winner while also placing top 10 in Construction Cost Estimating, Irrigation Troubleshooting, and Hardscape Installation.
