#075 - The Stanford Prison Experiment & Carl Panzram: The Spirit of Hatred & Vengeance - WatchThis W/Rick Ramos

On this weeks episode of WatchThis W/RickRamos I take a trip into the hell of human masochism and depravity with a look at a new film in theaters - Kyle Patrick Alvarez' THE STANFORD PRISON EXPERIMENT- a dramatic retelling of the famed experiment testing prison adaptation from the standpoint of prisoners as well as guards. One of the better films of the year, Alvarez' study of humanities fragile boundaries is a must-see. Alvarez' film lead me to a terrifying and sad story of one of America's worst and most cruel serial killers - Director John Borowski's CARL PANZRAM: THE SPIRIT OF HATRED & VENGEANCE - a truly horrible human being in a story that forces its viewers to examine the failings of a society that could allow a monster like this to be created. Not necessarily a good film, but a fascinating story well worth watching. I also take a few minutes to remember the Great WWF Wrestler/Entertainer - "Rowdy" Roddy Piper. He will be missed.
