079: Jackson Fearon

Jackson Fearon almost quit wrestling. As a sophomore at Middletown North, he was trying to maintain 120 pounds. His routine? Wake up at 4 AM. Run. Sauna. School. Practice. Go home. Nap. Then go to another practice. Eventually, he'd had enough. Jackson stopped showing up to practice. Coach Morley wasn't having it. He sent Jackson's brother and teammates to his HOUSE to get him and bring him back to the wrestling room. Jackson stayed. He moved up in weight. And everything changed. As a junior, Jackson exploded to a 43-7 season, won Districts, won Region 5 and made his first trip to the NJ State Championships in Atlantic City. Now he's entering his senior year with one goal: 🏆 Become an NJ State Champion.
