"What does it look like for us to petition God? To ask him for things? And how do you even feel worthy of doing something like that?" Pastor Andrew Honeycutt asks as he unpacks that petition is the act of making a request from an authority; to ask God for something or to do something. He talks about how God cares for you and loves you, and how, despite the lack of trust you have sometimes, the Father still delights in you. So I ask you this question that Andrew asks in his teaching: "What are those things that God is putting on your heart that you've given too much value to in this season that's causing you fear, worry, and anxiety? Is that overshadowing a love that you have for the Father, a faith that you have in him? Petition him.
