Homily from the Twenty-first Sunday in Ordinary Time. Everything I like and nothing that I don't. The temptation to create a God in our own image and have a church in our own image is strong. But God has revealed Himself to us, which means we either choose Him…or we choose “not Him.” We don’t get to create our own personally curated version.
