08 - Prime Movers VS Drifters Part 2: Your Eulogy

This is part two of my presentation helping entrepreneurs discover what matters most. Last time we identified your values through the 'value galaxy' exercise. Now I challenge you to write your own eulogy, just like I had each person do in the training. At your funeral, your eulogy highlights what you valued and pursued in life. I was scared to write mine, even though I'd prepared for months. Sitting there that morning was emotional but clarifying, articulating how I want to be remembered. The eulogy isn't about achievements or goals - it's about living true to your values. After writing mine, I had everyone in the room do the same. It was a powerful experience. Tragically, one friend there has since passed away. At his funeral, I got to read parts of the eulogy he wrote that day. It was incredible to share the legacy he wanted. I challenge you to push past the fear and write your eulogy. Share it with loved ones. It will give direction and purpose to your life if you truly engage with it. This exercise changed my life and perspective. Don't just listen, but take action. Your eulogy creates a North Star for making what matters most a priority starting today.
