John was first a pond hobbyist before he dabbled with ponds as a profession. He was in the tile industry commuting to Chicago every day and was tired of the corporate rat race. While enjoying his pond one day, he decided he'd rather be installing water features. Around that same time he attended an Aquascape pond tour and found out about training for pond builders. John attended the event and officially quit his tile job. He created a website and started getting inquiries. Then John worked with a local nursery and business started to increase. Soon after John became a Certified Aquascape Contractor®. His company was listed on Aquascape's contractor locator and John has had steady work ever since.
