Supply and demand is the cardinal rule of economics. The truth is that skilled trades are dying. The skilled trades shortage is so dire that all skilled trades are in demand, meaning all skilled trades pay well. Now, some do pay better than others which is why you need to listen to construction podcasts and skilled trades podcasts like this one!
