083 - Gospel of Matthew (Matthew 25:1-13)

Jesus uses an illustration of a wedding to describe what it will be like when he returns for his church. Yet, due to our understanding of the common western, American version of weddings, much is lost to the reader when Jesus speaks of the bridesmaids, the lamps, and the wedding. In this message, Pastor David explains the three-levels of weddings in first-century Israel and how Jesus' use of this illustration paints a clear picture for the church today.
