084 - David Clinton - From Prom King to Therapist

from Conversations With a Wounded Healer · host Sarah Buino

David is a cofounder of Artisan Clinical Associates, a small outpatient therapy practice in Naperville, IL. A native of Cincinnati, David studied psychology and religion at Indiana University before earning his master's in clinical psychology from Wheaton College. He has counseled in private practice since 2002. He's also a husband, father, guitarist, an amateur photographer and an avid reader.  David and Sarah discuss what it was like to grow up in a suburban town in Southern Ohio and how it shaped them into the therapists they are today. They also share their belief about what it takes to be a good therapist: knowing that you have no business being in this business of healing others. Let's be friends!
