#085: Fast Color
from Filmbound · host Mark Pfeiffer and Paul Markoff
Gugu Mbatha-Raw's Ruth comes from a family of women with superhuman powers in director and co-writer Julia Hart's FAST COLOR. Ruth fled home years ago, but while being chased by government officials in a rain-deprived dystopia, she seeks safety with the mother and daughter she left behind. In recommendations, Mark Pfeiffer picks Mike Mitchell's superhero comedy SKY HIGH. Paul Markoff selects BEYOND THE LIGHTS, Gina Prince-Bythewood's romance about Mbatha-Raw's pop star and Nate Parker's police officer. Send your comments, questions, and feedback to [email protected].
