086 - Honorary Aussies!
from The Midfield Pod
G'day mates! We're here spreadin' the sweet-badness for you, our loyal listeners, and whoah boy we've got another guest! It's our good friend Rod from SUPERLICENSE F1. His podcast that he's been heading up for over a decade. Not only is he kind of a big deal, he's a total sweetie and loves hanging out and talking race cars. Our kinda cat. As always, we start with origin stories and how Rod found his way to Formula 1, and almost instantly start bitchin' about timezones. It's all in good fun, we're former night-owls turned early birds. We talk the first race of the season, and get Rod's take on the current Australian drivers for 2025. Dooey vs Crashapinto. Easy pickens at his point of the 2025 season, but we know we've got mountains of surprises right around the bend. Trickier question; Lando vs Oscie. Battle of the McLarens. Could a dropping of Papaya rules lead to some fireworks on track this season? We can't hardly wait! We tie this one up with a bit of Aussie slang, and of course some baaad accents. We couldn't thank Rod enough for hanging out and putting up with our goofiness, so go thank him for us by giving his podcast SUPERLICENSE F1 a download, like and subscribe!
