Mark another one off the listener suggestion pile - this week we tackle the debut solo album by founding Kyuss member and former Fu Manchu drummer Brant Bjork, the 1999 album Jalamanta. Brant's take on "desert rock" is more stripped down with less bombast, incorporating Latin and jazz influences. It's an interesting combination, but does it work? Tune in and find out.
