089 - The Late Arthur [Indie Rock/Lo-Fi]

Derived from his forever hated middle name, Swedish-American musician Henrik Jonzon coined the alter-ego “The Late Arthur” for his new melodic lo-fi guitar rock project. This messy mix of nostalgic indie bliss depicts a dysfunctional world of skateboarding, sex, family camping trips and the endless plights of trying to become a functional adult. On his debut effort “Lake Shore Drive” Henrik rants about when his grandmother came to visit the family in Chicago where they were living at the time. Especially honing in on a day trip downtown resulting in an awkward situation in the van… The Late Arthur is a far cry from Henrik Jonzons day job as a songwriter/producer for European artists like Kilian & Jo, Sigrid, Miriam Bryant, Alexander Oscar, Rebecca & Fiona, Ängie, Vigiland etc. The Late Arthur will be releasing a follow up single as well as an EP in 2019 - But first off, as mentioned, is “Lake Shore Drive” May 17, 2019.
