089: When Opportunity Knocks

from Time to Pivot

With a surprise turn of events on a Sunday afternoon after I felt God working on my heart, I suddenly was asked to stand in for a friend and lead a Pilates class!Am I experienced enough or qualified to do that? Questionable. However, the inspiration to use our God-given Spiritual Gifts from Amy Pendergraft in her sermon that morning, coupled with hearing a recent inspirational acronym P.O.O.R. (Passing Over Opportunities Repeatedly), I knew the only answer was YES. Is God working on your heart by asking you to use your gifts, even when you feel unqualified, ill-equipped, not ready, or inexperienced? Perhaps He’s calling you to something great and blessings are just around the corner. You won’t know unless you answer the call.  Highlights:(02:09) Spiritual Gifts(06:29) You want me to do WHAT?(10:26) God puts these things on our hearts(13:58) We gotta stick together, right?Mentioned:Ep 4: Use Your Gifts for GoodEp 8: Called & Capable Ready to put your story or expertise into a book, podcast, or share it from the stage and curious about how it works? Let’s schedule a call to discuss it.If you’re enjoying the Time To Pivot podcast, be sure to scroll down to ‘write a review’ on Apple Podcasts, hit that 5th star, share it on social, and tag me @everythingwithstylemom so I can thank you for listening! Helpful links:Let’s TALK! View my SERVICES. Text PIVOT to 213-325-4600.Get my BOOK/AUDIOBOOK on Amazon.Need a SPEAKER for your next event?Connect on Instagram @EverythingWithStyleMom& on TikTok @everythingwithstylemom.Get helpful videos on my YOUTUBE Channel.Find more resources at EverythingWithStyle.com.
