是犹太历中非常重要的日子 it takes place 10 days after Rosh Hashana 它在罗什哈沙纳节后10天 the Jewish New Year 也就是犹太新年 This period is called the Days of Awe 这段时期被称为“敬畏十日” the date of Yom Kippur changes every year because 赎罪日的日期每年都变，因为 like Rosh Hashana 和犹太新年一样 it follows the Jewish calendar 它依照犹太历计算 which is different from the calendar 这种历法不同于 used in lots of Western countries 多数西方国家使用的公历 yom Kippur 赎罪日 is the most
