# 09 Killing is Easier than Talking

The pace of the story is picking up. I reveal two new facts, one about what Respaldo is hiding up his sleeves and another clue as to what L is willing to do to find her long-lost mentor, Reese. In this episode, the team makes a few preparations at the store, runs into some trouble, and then unloads a flurry of bullets that is by far, the bloodiest battle yet in this ongoing campaign. Be sure to wait for the blooper and you'll hear Demian attempt to hum a nostalgic TV show theme song! I also share my love for dark synthwave music and how the genre inspires me to create Shadowrun missions, memorable NPCs, and fun, dark plot twists. My absolute favorite is "The Connection" from Lost Years. Check it out on Spotify and let me know what music inspires you to play Shadowrun - I'd be happy to add your recommendations to the list. Thanks, chummers!
