In this episode, we discuss the importance of shopping small and local and will be explaining one of our biggest sales events of the year: Small Business Saturday. We also welcome guest Rocco Lamanna to talk about the Pittsburgh Pet Expo which runs every fall at the David Lawerence Convention Center and is the largest Pet Expo on the east coast. Toni and Emily talk give a little background Small Business Saturday is an annual event that was created to encourage consumers to shop locally in person and online at small businesses. This event takes place every November on the Saturday after Thanksgiving and represents a significant opportunity to increase sales for small businesses during the holiday shopping season.
