In this study, we consider the message of Jesus Christ to the church of Laodicea. Many people know of Jesus' message to this 'lukewarm' church. Jesus cries out to this church to recognize the wretchedness of their situation and their need to look to Him for their fulfillment. The illustration of Jesus knocking at the door is not an evangelistic picture. Rather, it is His call to the church to open their door to Him.
