091 - East LA C.A.P.E 2019

from Chicano Shuffle

We're back at East LA C.A.P.E. having a chingon time again. Again this year, it was inspiring to see so many people doing what they love to do and to be around a community with such a positive vibe. We got to sit down with a nice variety of people to have some chingon conversations and plenty of laughs. We talk to local listener that came by to hang out about, well, us... but it does get pretty deep. That's followed by an interview with cosplayer Utahime... we discuss her story and all about finding your community. We also, get to hear some more about Ramon from a direct source, his sister... yes, chisme time. The shuffle continues with an interview with artist John Narcomey... we discuss his story and an interesting situation that just went down. Not going to lie, it's a long episode. You might need a coffee and to get on the 405 freeway (local humor, sorry... whatever highway near you has the most traffic, might need to go there) to hear it all. Trust, we think it's worth it. ***Side note: Episode was recorded live at our booth, and therefore has plenty of ambient noise... just as if you were there. Thanks for listening and stay tuned… ► Guests ◄ • Utahime Cosplay (@ 31:00) : Instagram ○ Facebook • John Narcomey (@1:43:45) : Instagram ○ Ebay • Draw Hard Studio: Instagram

WHOO'S House Podcast Podcast Playground WHOO’S HOUSE PODCAST WITH DJ WHOO KID This isn’t just a podcast. It’s Whoo’s House—and you never know who might walk through the door. Before social media could make an artist famous overnight, DJ Whoo Kid was moving music through the streets, breaking records on mixtapes, and helping turn underground momentum into worldwide movements. As a pioneering force behind the legendary G-Unit Radio mixtape series, 50 Cent’s longtime tour DJ, a core member of the G-Unit family, and the man behind Shadyville Entertainment, Whoo Kid didn’t simply witness one of hip-hop’s most explosive eras—he helped create its soundtrack. His mixtapes became events, his drops became unmistakable, and his voice became woven into the DNA of an entire generation of hip-hop. Now, the doors are open. WHOO’S HOUSE PODCAST brings Whoo Kid’s unpredictable world directly to the audience. Hollywood stars pull up.
