The boys jump straight into one of baseball’s strangest little corners: the fourth out rule, which popped up during the Blue Jays–Red Sox game without actually being enacted, but somehow taught all of us something new anyway.That sends us down a rabbit hole of quirky baseball rules, weird technicalities, and the kind of wacky stuff that makes this sport both brilliant and deeply unserious.
