Special Delivery. Peace; The peace they were looking for was "worldly peace." The peace that God offers is so much more. Peace with God. Peace that passes all understanding. Peace to pass on to others. God's blessings outweigh the worlds standards. Power; The power they were looking for was "worldly power." The power we receive in Christ is so much more. Power over sin. Jesus brings life. Power to overcome temptation. Power to be saved by the gospel of Christ. Power and authority over the enemy. Promise; We have the promise of His resurrection. His unconditional love. His return for His children. His spirit to lead, guide, and direct us. His faithfulness. His Joy and His presence. John 12:16, John 14:27, Eph 1, Luke 19:28-47.
