She changed a continent.Of all seven letters in Revelation, Thyatira's is the longest—yet Thyatira was the most insignificant of the seven cities. Jesus praised their growth (your last works are greater than your first), then named the pressure: compromise just enough to fit in, keep your livelihood, go along to get along. Real in the first century. Real right now. His promise to those who hold fast: I will give you the morning star. In Revelation, Jesus calls himself that.
